Paul StrandI like this photograph because it has intricate detail within the shadow. It shows form as this picture is the shadow cast from a bridge showing its three dimensional nature.

I found this photographer on the internet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Strand

Giuseppe BognanniI like this photograph because it shows depth as the poles go further back and although the depth is the main focus of the picture the sunset makes the picture very attractive.I found this

photographer on flickr. http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=giuseppe%20bognanni

McNeneyThis photograph shows lines in the cobweb. A lot of other of Mcney’s work also shows lines as well as tone colour and reflection. I like this photographer as he has an interesting way of taking the photographs and a lot seem to include crows and other natural things.

Harold EdgertonThis photograph shows the movement of the bullet through the stationary object and although the bullet and apple are in focus the insides of the apple are blurred showing the movement. I like this photo because it shows the contrast between the stationary object and the moving object.

Ben McloedThis photograph shows the movement of the car. I like this photographer as all of his pictures seem to incorporate at least one of the formal elements.

I found this photographer at http://www.flickr.com/photos/benmcleod/59948520/in/photostream/

Vivian MaierThis photographer uses quite dull bland colours which emphasize the use of one bright colour. The people in this picture are all wearing yellow which can be clearly seen in front of the dark car and buildings. I like this photographer because of the use of bland colour’s backing the bright colour’s.

I found this Photographer on google at http://www.vivianmaier.com/

Ben MooreI like this Photographer because of the use of bright colour’s in this photograph. This is different to his other photos as they seem to show more tone and are of people.I found this

photographer on google. http://www.benmoorephotography.com/

Daniel KuklaI really like this photographer because he uses a very unique way to capture the whole of a place. The reflection and the background sometimes matches the image shown in the mirror but sometimes is different showing the variety of landscape in the area. All of his photos are like this but in all different locations creating a very individual portfolio.

I found this photographer on the daily mail website. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2213809/Daniel-Kukla-Photographer-captures-stunning-mirrored-reflections-American-valley-look-like-paintings.html

Paul ScharffI like this photograph as it is different to other bark pictures as the texture is clearly more rough than on other pictures. I think the lighting is very good for showing the texture. I found this

photographer on google. http://www.paulscharffphotography.com/e-barktexture.htm

Bruce MontagneThis photograph shows a very different texture to other texture photography. It is not clear what the photo is of so this emphasizes the texture in the picture. I found this

Dominick M. Dimacale A lot of this photographers work shows the formal elements for example this picture shows depth and tone very well. I like this photographer as they have put a bike in the bottom left corner which makes the picture differ from the usual depth photos.

Joy Rector This photographers work focuses on lines, shape and pattern especially in this photograph. I like this photo because it gives a sense of endlessness to the tunnel. This photographers style is very different to others that I have seen.

Cathal McnaughtonThis picture uses the bright blue sky in order to contrast the bright colour’s of the icecream van and pram. The Icecream van is almost center of the picture making it the viewing point but the photographer makes it different to other pictures.

I found this photographer on http://cathalmcnaughton.com/?page_id=65

Ron BigelowThis photograph shows the rough texture of the bark and also shows the bright colour of the fungus on the bark. I like the way that the photographer has only taken the picture of the texture and it is not clear what the rest of the photo is.

I found this photographer at http://www.ronbigelow.com/articles/texture-photography/texture-photography.html

Pete TurnerThis photograph shows movement from the blurring. The photo is taken at night so the blurred lights on the black background create a really effective photograph.I found this

photographer on google at http://www.peteturner.com/

Veronique Aubois This photographer has taken this photograph from an interesting angle as the bird is not standing in its normal way. This photo shows the vibrant colour of the bird and the pattern which is made with the feathers.
