I. Entry Through Entrance Examinations………………..

Θ CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET). 1.CSIR-JFR Fellowship2.CSIR-UGC Lecturer Ship (LS)

Θ GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Examination.

II. Entry Through CSIR-SRF Interview………

Θ After getting two year Experience in research from a recognized laboratory or institution.

Θ If you have a M. Tech Degree in the same discipline. Which will consider as tw0 years of research experience.

Interview Date: 1st December to 29th February

If You are Appointed As Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

If You are Appointed As Direct Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

You will get 3 years for Research, if your basic qualification is M.Sc (Chem)

Fellowship (24000 + HRA)

You will get 4 years for Research, if your basic qualification is M.Sc and M. Tech (Chem)

Fellowship (26000 + HRA)

You will get 5 Year for Research

You will get Fellowship for 5 years

Initial 2 years as Junior Research Fellow (18000 + HRA) Next 3 years as Senior Research Fellow (24000 + HRA)

Research Associate (RA)

After your PhD degree, you can apply for Research Associate Position.

For this ,

CSIR will conduct an interview at New Delhi. If qualified you will get appointment in any research laboratory or university which you have suggested.

Duration of Research: 5 years

Salary: Rs. 40000 including HRA
