A Focus Group is a group of people assembled to participate in a discussion about a product before it is launched, or in this case, a type of film. This will ensure we do not offend anyone and we can gain as large an audience we can with the input we are given. (The below chart is a separate survey to the one done in Target audience)

In a survey of the 19-60 year old populous in Thanet, about 79% of males would watch a British crime film than not, only 45% of females said the same.

Now we have a good grasp on what the film would achieve in terms on who would watch it. Going by this our film would catch a wide variety of viewers and since the survey was done with all races and both genders we can say that the viewing would be equally as diverse, meaning more viewers. There will also be a viewing from people who are outside the age boundaries we set for the survey which will give us an even wider range. All this will be taken into account so the film catches as many of these people into watching as possible.
