The Research Day (8 March) is hosted by Stellenbosch University through Ukwanda Centre for Rural Health, supported by Anova and SURMEPI.

Further information

The seminar will focus on research taking place in the rural areas of the Cape Winelands, Overberg and West Coast.

The research day will cover the following:

•research completed and on-goingundertheauspicesof the Department of Health, Western Cape;

•discussions on the prioritisation of research needs in these rural areas;

•introductions to effectively translating knowledge; and

•networking between local researchers with other investigators involved in research at tertiary facilities.
