Research analysis

• I noticed that on my results majority of people preferred male artists therefore if I present a male on the front cover on my magazine it would attract more people of my specific target audience.

Music artist

• The type of colours that people wanted were either bright colours so that they would stand out and attract them or typical rap magazine colours such as black white red this is because they think it is more appealing and presentable.

Colour scheme

Fonts?

• Most people either prefer san serif or serif fonts therefore a mixture of it would not be too bad to have on the front page because, it could appeal to everyone. If I have both it may make it more unique and original.

• Most people who answered the questionnaire would want to see a big image of a male artist not lots of photos, they would also want lots of quotes and gossip. Some people would want a good and appealing headline therefore it makes them want to pick up the magazine.

What would encourage you to read it?

In formal or formal?• Most people would prefer an

informal style of text as if the writer was being chatty and talking directly to them. This is because informal fits in with the type of music genre I am basing my magazine around. Some people wouldn’t mind formal but with the way they talk and gossip it is better to have informal.

Male or female on the front cover?

• Considering that 7 out of 12 people of my survey were females most them stated that they wanted a male artists to appear on the front this may be because they were more attracted to them. A few of the males who answered my questionnaire stated they would want a male they might be because they prefer how they rap compared to women.
