    Instructions for Using This Form: Each colored record in the table represents a project year1. All information is required. Start in Tab "Project_Info". Then switch to this Tab. Enter information in each field of the table, starting from left to right and from top to button (Do not edit formulas in cells highlighted gray)2. Column "J" contains the number of accounts to be used for cost sharing for each year. The button in Cell "J1" can be used to copy (split) rows after the number of accounts has been populated in cells below the buttion. To go back to 1 single source, change the number in the cells back to "1" and click the button again.3. When adding or removing accounts, make sure to update accurate account information 4. If applicable, manually adjust amount to be allocated to each account in Col “K” (default is set to equal amounts for each account: “NEU Fiscal Year Cost” ÷ “# of Funding Sources”5. When all information is completed, confirm that an email or signed document is in file to document approval for each account.. This template is intended to record stipulated cost share of two types:Voluntary Committed Cost share: Cost share outlined in NU’s proposal that was not required by the funding agency solicitation.Mandatory Committed Cost share: Cost share outlined in NU’s proposal because the funding agency solicitation required all proposals to include a cost share commitment. Note:When a cost share commitment is included in the proposal, it is considered to be a firm commitment and must be tracked accordingly. Therefore, NU-RES and the College must track and report on that cost share commitment. Accordingly, if cost share was included in the proposal, even if the sponsor did not require it, NU-RES will need a budget, including the accounts from which to transfer the funds, in order to ensure NU meets its obligation to the funding agency.Voluntary uncommitted cost share is cost share that your college did not have included in the proposal. This type of cost share is not formally tracked or report by NU-RES.

    FY20 Fringe Benefit Rate

    Fully Benefited Employee 25%Temp/Part-Time Employee 7.65%

    • This change has been made in Banner starting November 2019 for the first monthly payroll run and going forward

    • Begin using this rate in proposals and award obligation budgets immediately

    • The rate agreement is still pending with CAS and will be released when available

    • Please note that there will not be a retroactive adjustment processed for July-October for the variance

    Routing T-Forms in ePAWS• Some instances where SRA agreement and T-form are routed in

    ePAWS with the proposal and not emailed to the mailbox

    • These are two separate workstreams managed by two different

    systems, one electronic and one manual

    • Please email the agreement T-Form to [email protected]

    • You are welcome to also upload to ePAWS, but it does need to go to

    the mailbox in order to be logged, the GOs do not log the agreements
