Marble Board

InstructionsFabricate the marble way:

Crochet the decoration:

Create the marble basket:

1. Paint the marble way with a pencil on the spruce wood. Hammer the nails along the pattern with small gaps between them. Try the marble way several times while fabricating it.

2. Crochet chain stitches strings in different colours. Use the Opitec wood glue to attach the strings to the wooden board in various shapes. To make the marble way weatherproof spray acrylic spray on it. If desired crochet a small bag, that catches the marbles and fix it. Alternatively ham-mer nails in the wood shaped like a bow.

3. Make a circle out of chain stitches, i. e. Make five chain stitches, take the first one and draw the yarn through the first and the last stitch. Make eight loose single crochets into the ring of chains. Add two single crochets into every second stitch. Repeat in each row until you‘ve reached the desired diameter for the bottom of the basket. Once you‘ve finished the bot-tom of the basket, DO NOT add anymore single crochets. Only add more rows of single crochets with the same number of stitches. The number of additional rows determines the height of the basket. Once the basket is finished, cut the yarn and neaten the end. Use more yarn to attach the marble basket to two nails.
