Civil / Structural Engineer - Oil & Gas On & Offshore projects Client of TED RecruitmentOur client, a leading Engineering and management contractor in the oil and gas industry, due to a new two year PMC project award now seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to join their PMC team in Abu Dhabi. The operator intends to embark on various projects, both on and offshore, to maintain existing facilities and enhance oil and gas production from it's main reservoir incorporating, Production, Water Injection, Observation, Gas Injection and Gas Lift Wells. The overall mission of the PMC team is to manage the EPC contractors deliverables through FEED to Construction, commissioning and final Handover stage. Main duties: Prepare Civil/Structural Design basis , Design Reports, Specifications and check Design Drawings. Carry out constructability review during the Design and modification stages. Review in a timely manner the DESIGN CONSULTANTs/EPC Contractors submittals , forward comments and ensure that comments given on the previous stages are incorporated. Attend Technical meeting with DESIGN CONSULTANTs /EPC Contractors and other Sub-Consultants, Contractors and COMPANY Team. Review the materials proposed by the DESIGN CONSULTANT/EPC Contractor. Review the Change requests / Variations submitted by the DESIGN CONSULTANT/EPC Contractor. Prepare SOWs and review Tender Documents to ensure completeness prior to issuing to Bidders. Participate in Bid clarification and Bid Evaluation. Participate in the pre-qualification of the Design Consultants and construction contractors list. To apply you will be Degree qualified civil/stuctural engineer, preferably Chartered with a minimum 14 years experience to include marine/ reclamation/foundations works for oil & gas projects, three of which MUST be from a PMC/Consultants background. Suitable candidates will need to be Degree qualified with a minimum of fourteen years post graduate experience with at least three years in a PMC role.
