MILITARY EXERCISE 'NAMEJS 20'

1. From 20 SEP until 25 SEP 2020, military exercise 'NAMEJS 20' will take place over central part ofthe territory of Latvia. 2. During the exercise multiple simultaneous military aircraft and unmanned aircraft vehicle operationswill be conducted in the established areas from 20 SEP 2100 UTC until 25 SEP 2100 UTC. Non-participating aircraft including unmanned aircraft and drones are to avoid these areas.3. The following temporary restricted areas are established for military activities (see Appendix 1):

4. Established areas are activated from date and time as specified in the table above until 25SEP 2100 UTC unless temporary deactivated or cancelled by NOTAM. 5. In order to minimize impact on IFR flights, temporary deactivation of active areas will be coordinatedbetween Latvian National Armed Forces Joint Headquarter and Riga ACC one day prior not later than1600 UTC. NOTAM for scheduled deactivation of active areas for the next period (starts on next dayfrom 0600 UTC until 0559 UTC) will be published not later than one day prior 1930 UTC.

6. Active area will be also deactivated by NOTAM if military activities within it are suspended for morethan 3 hours. 7. Information about current activation status of the areas will be provided by RIGA ACC.8. Flexible use of airspace (FUA) restrictions are not created for temporary restricted areas. Non-participating aircraft will be tactically vectored to stay clear of areas.9. Cancellation of the exercise activities will be notified by NOTAM.
