REPTILES
They are vertebrates because they have a skeleton or backbone
Most of them are carnivores
Some of them are herbivores or
omnivores
They hatch from eggs but they do not incubate them.
They breathe with their lungs
They can have four legs, flippers, a shell, scales, tail or
no legs
They can walk or run
They can swim
They can slither
Tortoises have four legs and live on land.
Turtles have flippers and they live in the water.
Crocodiles carry the babies from one place to another using their
mouths.
Snakes shed their skin
Lizards can live in the desert, but they can’t live in cold climates
Chameleons change colour to protect from
predators.
The Komodo dragon has a strong and long tail to kill its
prey.
