VISUAL REPRESENTATION

Pop magazines are very easy to identify. The pop genre has a distinctive look. Artists such as Beyonce, Katy Perry, Britney Spears are all pop artists, we know that because of the album covers. For example Katy Perry is a typical pop artist as she has outfits that show of her body a lot. The picture on the bottom shows a picture of Katy, you can see that she shows off her body by wearing nothing. She also has a flirtatious look on her face when looking at the camera. The body language and facial expression on pop magazines are quite flirtatious, they use lots of colours such as pinks and blues to back up the flirtatious look this is so that we are just focused on the main image.
