Reported energy savings and NEEAP BH

• NEEAP process in Bosnia and Herzegovina is defined by requirements from Energy Community Treaty as well as provisions of

Directive 2006/32/EC;

• NEEAP is aimed at realization of savings in end-use energy consumption in amount of 9% comparing to base consumption in

2010;

• Entity jurisdiction, NEEAP is defined by legal frameworks on entity levels, implementation on entity levels. NEEAP BH

process represents a compilation of entity action plans and segments relating to state institutions and Brcko District. It also

represents a report for EnC;

• NEEAP structure has been drafted in 2011. Government of Republic of Srpska has adopted EEAP RS. Federation of Bosnia

and Herzegovina has not yet adopted EEAP FBH;

• Workgroup has been formed to create, adapt/edit AP on Entity level and create NEEAP BH.

• Continue monitoring and verification of realized energy savings with the aim of reporting on action plan realization;

• Implement effective information systems for energy efficiency with the aim to provide information necessary for decision making process

within action plan implementation;

• Develop models and criteria for different projects evaluation and evaluation of their influence on action plans realization;

• Implement different incentives mechanisms for projects realization;

• Pay attention to development of program support mechanisms for small and medium enterprises, industry and transportation;

• Development of long-term incentive strategy for investments in renovation of fun for residential and commercial buildings, public and private;

• Estimation of potential for application of highly efficient cogeneration and efficient central heating and cooling in BH;

• Estimation of potential and definition of program measures for increase of energy efficiency and infrastructure of gas and electricity
