EXECUTIVE SUMMARY School Sanitation Infrastructure Programme require construction of sanitation facilities.

• ACTIVITIES OF THE PROJECT EARTHWORKS • Excavation of pit trenches • Backfilling • Compaction • CONCRETE FORMWORK & REINFORCEMENT • Base concrete & slab • MASONRY • Brickworks for pit lining using (Mampara) • Brickworks for super structure (Face Brick) • WATERPROOFING • Damp proofing of walls using 375 micron embossed damp proof course (1 layer) • Damp proofing of under surface beds using 250 micron embossed damp proof course (1 layer) • Damp proofing of floors & walls using approved black epoxy coating (2 coats)

• ROOF COVERINGS • Install IBR profiled roof sheets (corrugated) lined with timber kapa & fixed to timber purlins • CARPENTRY & JOINERY • carpentry and joinery on roofs, eaves, verges and doors Fascia’s and barge boards • Wrought meranti doors hung to steel frames • METALWORKS IN-SITU FINISHES • Install aluminium windows & doors • PLUMBING & DRAINAGE • Install PVC pipe and fittings to urinal tank • Install concrete wash basin • GLAZING • Glazing on Glass • PAINTWORK • Apply to the specified requirements: Paint on fibre cement o paint on wood o paint on metal
