“DESIGNING WIRELESS EMBEDDED & IoT SYSTEMS”

1. Title of the course: DESIGNING WIRELESS EMBEDDED AND IoT SYSTEMS

3. Total Participants: 31
4. Details of the program: This course was intended for beginners and those looking for
research and development. During the above mentioned six days, intensive training was
imparted in different application of wireless, Embedded and IoT using with lectures,
laboratory experiences and MATLAB software exposures.
Day wise report is as follows:
Day 1: The course started with formal inauguration ceremony. The faculties like Nilesh
Ranpura e-Infochips, Ahmedabad, Professor Mahesh Jivani, Surastra University, Rajkot and
Er. Dhiren Shah from Reliance industry had delivered expert talk on current trends in
industries.
Day 2: The faculties like Prof. Jignesh Patoliya, Assistant Professor, CIT, Changa NIT, Dr.
J. M. Rathod, Associate Professor, & Prof. Milind Solanki, Assistant Professor from BVM
had delivered expert talk on the topics like Micropython, Vector Analyzer, MIMO
hardware Demo.
Day 3: The faculties from Dr. Yogesh Trivedi Professor, Nirma and Dr. Upena Dalal
Associate Professor, SVNIT, Surat delivered expert talk on Mobile Broadband
communication: LTE Standards, wireless Technologies for IoT with MAC and network
layer constaints.
Day 4: The faculties from Mathwork had delivered expert talk on matlab tools for IoT.
Day 5: Industry Visit (AIMTRON, Baroda). There were expert talk taken by Ekata Mehul
regarding IoT (Raspberry Pi).
Day 6: The faculty from change, Dr. Hiren Mevada Professor, had delivered talk.
Outcomes of the FDP Program:
1. Participants would be familiar with wireless Embedded and IoT systems.
2. Participants would be able to start the exploration in wireless Embedded & IoT.
3. Participants would be able to design the IoT system.
4. Participants would be able to design the Device Driver.
