These hours of togetherness spent in Peace and Amity.....................

This Annual Day is a celebration of human emotions, human achievements, human failures

and finally the spiritual upliftment of man.

Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy in collaboration with Yashwantrao Bhonsale

College of D. Pharmacy celebrated “EUPHORIA-2018-19” from 24th to 29th Dec. 2018. On 24th and

25th Dec. 2018 students celebrated various cultural days like Bollywood day, Retro day and Saree &

Tie day/ Traditional day.



On 29th Dec. 2018 in the morning session, the delicious breakfast enjoyed by all staff member

and students together in BKC mess in a much disciplined manner. The celebration started in morning

session with mask day, hat day and fish pond in the BKC auditorium hall. This session hosted by

Neha Mete and Pooja Walavalkar with lots of enthusiasm.



Second session was annual day celebration in auditorium hall of BKC. All Students dressed

up in their ethnic and glamorous look for the EUPHORIA-2018-19 celebration. This event was

started with national anthem. All students were actively participated in each activities.

This event was celebrated in the presence of Hon. Dr. Rajeshkumar Gupta, Renowned

Surgeon, Bhaisaheb Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya, Sawantwadi, Hon. Mr. Achyut Sawant Bhonsale Sir,

Executive Chairman, BKC, Hon. Mrs. Asmita Sawant Bhonsale Ma’am, Chairperson BKC, Hon. Mr.

Sanjeev Desai Sir, Secretary BKC, Hon. Mrs. Sunetra Phatak Ma’am, Administrative Coordinator,

BKC, Hon. Dr. Vijay Jagtap Sir, Principal, YBCP, Hon. Mr. Tushar Rukari Sir, Principal, YBCDP.

The programme commenced with the National anthem with feeling of inspiration and togetherness. The

programme began with the lamp lightening ceremony and all guests were welcome by offering

bouquet of flowers.



Later on the distribution of certificates for Sports and Cultural activities 2018 were done by the

auspicious hands of all dignitaries on the stage. And most awaited announcement: revealing the

winners of General Championship which was bagged by the Final Year B. Pharmacy students. All

the hon. Dignitaries on the dais presented the rolling shield of General Championship to the winners.



Hon. Dr. Vijay Jagtap presented the annual review and highlighting the achievements of the students and

staff member during last academic year. After that, announcement of ‘SYMPOSIUM’ was done which

will be organised on 02 February 2019. Brief introduction regarding the journey of professional

career of chief guest Hon. Dr. Rajeshkumar Gupta was given by Ms. Namita Bhonsale ma’am. On

this gracious occasion Hon. Achyut Sawantbhonsale Sir felicitated Hon. Dr. Gupta Sir by offering

Shawl and Shriphal along with book as a token of love. Later on, Hon. Mr. Achyut Sawant Bhonsale

Sir blessed to all students for cultural event and motivated students for do better in future. Hon. Dr.

Rajeshkumar Gupta sir has given valuable guidance to the students about how to sell medicine on

lower prices by using skill and techniques and also explore the different upcoming

opportunities as a career of Pharma students.



Further, the students of YBCP and YBCDP took charge of the podium exploring their anchoring

skills on the stage of EUPHORIA. As an Indian culture and tradition, the program started with the

“Ganesh Vandana” by Neha Ghadigaokar, and Aishwarya Mainkar. Students displayed their talents

in singing, dancing, acting and fashion show performances on this auspicious day. The thematic

show of talent, imagination and organization was the essence of the evening. Our students danced to

the tune of songs with colourful props. The audience was attracted by a colourful and very well

directed dance drama and everybody enjoyed cultural functions. The audience comprising students,

faculty, staff, non-teaching staff etc., enjoy every item of the programme with a great fun. Parents

were invited to the occasion and the reaction was gratifying.



After this session, evaluation of all cultural events was carried out by judges and announcement of

best performances in different cultural events. Inauguration and Anchoring part of euphoria hosted

by Mr. Durgesh Bidye. The program was successfully conducted by cultural co-ordinators Asst. Prof.

Ms. Shweta V. Shirodkar, Lecturer Ms. Priti C. Patle, Lecturer Ms. Pranali B. Yeram. Ms. Pritam

Palkar proposed the vote of thanks and congratulated the team on the success of Euphoria-2018-19.
