PRODUCT
With over 1.5M documents generated yearly, University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences has adopted EMC ApplicationXtender to increase
productivity, reduce costs, and make document sharing faster and easier.
UAMS had been using office space to store
important documents and records. This
was costly and unproductive. With rapid
growth and multiple locations, they
decided to reduce paper and find a more
automated way to store their documents
to improve access, sharing, and control.
With EMC ApplicationXtender, UAMS was
able to reduce paper storage and move to
new facilities. HR’s early success with the
new system led to 300 other departments
asking for it. The system provides faster,
broader access to information, enabling
easier content access, retrieval, and
sharing.
