Register & Log-In

• If this is your first time downloading the app, register with your primary email address. After registration is complete, check your email and verify your account.

• Log-in using your email and password. After logging in, accept the invitation sent by your property manager. You can now control your home and start controlling locks, thermostats and more!

• On your smart-phone or tablet, download the Rently Keyless app. Once download is complete, tap to open the Rently Keyless app.

Using Your Smart Lock

One of the greatest features of your new smart-home is you can finally eliminate keys! With Rently Keyless, your key is a unique 6 digit code. Need to provide a guest with access temporarily? Not a problem! With Rently Keyless, issue a 6 digit code to a friend and set a date for expiration. It’s that easy!

Unlocking Your Door

1. For touchscreen locks, press palm against screen. Screen will illuminate. If your lock has a pushbutton keypad, skip this step.2. Input your 6 digit access code.3. Press button on digital touchscreen.4. Deadbolt will turn and unlock.5. Unlock door from inside by rotating knob away from door frame.

Locking Your Door

1. To lock the door from the outside, simply press any button on the keypad while the door is unlocked. Door will instantly lock!2. To lock door from inside, simply rotate interior knob towards the door frame.

Remote Lock/Unlock

One of the greatest features of your new smart lock is that you can lock and unlock your property from anywhere!

1. Open Rently Keyless app.2. Select your lock.3. Tap the lock or unlock.4. Lock will instantly lock.

Creating a Code

1. Open your app.2. Select your lock.3. Tap the “Codes” icon.4. Click the “+” icon.5. Input name of guest.6. Create security code.7. Select “Notify Me” to receive email alerts.8. Customize validity.9. Click “Save”.

Low Battery

1. When battery is low, unscrew the back of the lock and replace with 4 AA Batteries.2. If battery is dead, use physical key backup to unlock door. If lock model has no key, use 9V battery. Place 9 volt battery at bottom of lock keypad and input code. Replace AA batteries.

Using Your Smart Thermostat

The smart thermostat allows you to control heating, air conditioning and fan settings remotely using the Rently Keyless app!

Manual Controls

1. To raise the target temperature of your thermostat, simply press the up arrow. Thermostat will activate.

2. To lower the target temperature of your thermostat, press the down arrow. Thermostat will activate.

Remote Thermostat Control

To change thermostat remotely using the app...

1. Open the app.2. Select your thermostat.3. Tap “Operating Mode”.4. Select desired mode (Off, Auto, Heat or Cool).5. Select desired temperature.6. Select Done.

Creating Schedules

Creating schedules allows you to customize temperature settings during different times of the week. To create a schedule...

1. Open the app.2. Select your thermostat.3. Click the “Schedule” button.4. Select “On”.5. Customize your schedule.6. Tap “Save”. Your schedule is now set!

Q & A

Q: My property manager instructed me to download a different app. Will my system still work?A: Yes! Speak with your property manager about the specific app you should download.

Q: Do I need to set up wi-fi in order for my smart home work?A: No! Our smart home technology can use cellular, so no need to set up wi-fi!

Q: The power went out in my home. Will my lock still work?A: Yes! All locks come with 4 AA Batteries, so a power outage will not lock you out.

Q: I download the right app, registered but don’t see my smart home. How do I view my home?A: A resident must be first “invited” to control a smart home. Ask your property manager for an invite, and make sure you register using the same email address the invite was sent to.

Q: How far away do I need to be to control my smart home with the app?A: You can be across the country and still lock your door! All you need is cellular or wi-fi signal on your device, and you can control your entire home!
