General Summary

This position will be responsible for working with other areas within Global Technical Services to develop the technology strategy for Campbell Soup Company’s remote workforce. This includes participation in road map development, service desk support, contributing to the analysis of hardware and software technologies, and maintaining technology standards for the remote workforce.

This position will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple technology oriented projects simultaneously through production implementation in support of the remote workforce including but not limited to Campbell North America and Pepperidge Farm Sales Company This position will also be accountable for being the primary liaison between Business Engagement teams with remote work force responsibilities and IT End User Services. Participation in activities with key vendor partnerships will also be required. This position will partner with key members of the Business Engagement team and IT End User Services to identify prioritize and deliver opportunities for utilizing technology and process improvements to achieve the goals of the business. The ability to communicate technical solutions to the business in a non-technical manner will be critical to this position.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Project Planning and Implementation - 50%. At any given time, this position may be responsible for multiple projects, depending upon the scope and complexity of the projects. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of project implementation, including overall project management, requirements analysis, application and technical design, development, testing and implementation. Contribute to Campbell's financial objectives through effective and efficient management of project budgets. Specific attention to resource allocation and usage is expected.

2. Tactical & Strategic Planning - 30%. Assist in development and maintenance of a long range technology plan for the remote workforce. Participate in assessing how current and future IT strategic plans will support business objectives. Develop task level plans for implementation of specific systems implementations.

3. Relationship Management – 20%. Communicate and interact on a regular basis with IT Business Engagement and IT End Users Services leadership with respect to the remote workforce. Identify opportunities to use technology to improve business processes and deliver on business objectives while adhering to corporate standards.

Technology Planning and Implementation - At any given time, there will be multiple concurrent initiatives. These initiatives will require strong organizational skills and oversight to bring all projects to completion without negative business impacts or disruptions. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget and that they conform to business requirements and specifications while also adhering to Campbell's corporate IT guidelines. This position will be responsible for working with project teams to identify issues, develop solutions and/or mitigation plans and successfully execute the plans for all projects. The project teams can be composed of external vendor resources, business resources and/or internal shared services resources which can be challenging. This person must be able to lead through influence, as project resources will not be reporting directly to this position. This person will be required to track and ensure that all project and maintenance resources are being utilized in a cost effective manner, identify areas for improvement and work with management to implement any agreed upon changes

Tactical & Strategic Planning - The challenge will be to stay abreast of the industry trends as they relate to the remote work force and IT Business Engagement road maps to ensure that tactical decisions adhere to the long-term IT and business direction. Initially, this person will be challenged with developing the work plans necessary for the projects currently in the pipeline.

Relationship Management – It will be necessary for this position to develop and maintain close working relationships with a variety of managers within the IT Business Engagement organization related to the remote work force. These relationships will be leveraged to assist in defining both tactical and strategic plans, as well as serve as a conduit for escalating issues related to technology support. Many of these team members are in the field and have limited time to deal with IT related issues.

Education & ExperienceMinimum education preferred: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field.Years of relevant experience: 7+ years IT experience working in multiple/progressive information technology, project management and/or Sales disciplines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be able to quickly comprehend remote user practices and processes and apply that knowledge to relationship building and project activity.

At least 3 years thorough knowledge of Project Management disciplines and best practices Project Management certification and/or extensive Project Management coursework desired.

At least 3 years relationship management experience and have a track record of inspiring trust with client groups.

Strong technology background required, with a deep understanding of end user technologies. Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and drive to make progress and deliver results. Must be a self starter; someone who can make decisions independently, drive alignment, and

escalate appropriately. Excellent time management skills needed to balance multiple priorities and to ensure delivery of

high quality application development projects. Excellent written communications skills needed to document tactical plans and project

deliverables. Good presentation skills needed to clearly communicate all aspects, both functional and

technical, of system plans and deliverables. Prior experience developing and giving presentations to the business and members of a management team required.

Intellectual ability needed to evaluate emerging technologies for development of business solutions and to identify opportunities to use technology to improve business processes.
