RemoteLearning Plan

Introduction to the Remote Learning PlanWhat does this mean?

Remote learning can encompass a wide variety of learning opportunities. Examples of remote learning tools include online learning platforms, large group video or audio conference calls (i.e. Google Meet), 1:1 phone or video calls, email, work packets, projects, reading lists, and other resources to effectively engage with students.

These tools will be utilized to deliver meaningful instruction, provide individual student support, provide resources (including instructional material and student assignments), connect students to each other and the teacher, and provide feedback on student work.

Introduction to the Remote Learning Plan cont.

While technology can be a supportive tool, the JFK Elementary School faculty would also like to consider and provide opportunities for student learning that can continue offline. Holbrook Public Schools will ensure all online learning platforms meet confidentiality and student privacy standards.
