Bishop Brian Castle begins our weekend of remembrance with his lecture on remembrance and reconciliation, entitled At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. Remembrance through the lens of reconciliation.’ Lecture followed by drinks and nibbles. Retiring collection in aid of ‘Help for Heroes’. Armistice day. November 11th at 10.55am. The traditional Royal British Legion service of remembrance in All Saints'. November 11th at 7.30pm. An evening of poetry, prose and music performed by villagers to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Followed by drinks and nibbles. Retiring collection in aid of the Royal British Legion.
