OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? 35 Or WHO HAS FIRST
GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? ...

B. He Owes Us Nothing (Romans 11:33-36)1) Must a parent reward a child’s obedience?

2 Peter1:2-4…3 seeing that His divine power has granted
to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of
Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has
granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you
may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption
that is in the world by lust.

3) Our Motivation
A.Self Motivated or Godly Motivated?
“10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10)
3) Our Motivation
B. Godly Motivation (Deuteronomy 10:12-13)
1) Fear Him – “fear the Lord”
2) Obey Him – “walk in His ways”
