FINANCIAL PERFOEMANCE

DEFINITION

A comprehensive financial statement that is a summarized assessment of a company's

accounts specifying its assets and liabilities. A report, usually prepared by independent

auditors or accountants, which includes a full and complete statement of all receipts and

disbursements of a particular business. A review that shows a general balance or summation

of all accounts without showing the particular items that make up the several accounts.

customer support team. You can invest through NRE or NRO accounts according to your

availability of funds in the respective schemes/products.

We also offer NDPMS Services (Non- Discretionary Portfolio Management Services) to our

HNI NRI clients.

PMS Products & Schemes

Panther

The Panther portfolio aims to achieve higher returns by taking aggressive positions across

sectors and market capitalizations. It is suitable for the "High Risk High Return" investor

with a strategy to invest across sectors and take advantage of various market conditions.

Tortoise

The Tortoise portfolio aims to achieve growth in the portfolio value over a period of time by

way of careful and judicious investment in fundamentally sound companies having good

prospects. The scheme is suitable for the "Medium Risk Medium Return" investor with a

strategy to invest in companies which have consistency in earnings, growth and financial

performance.

Elephant

The Elephant portfolio aims to generate steady returns over a longer period by investing in

Securities selected only from BSE 100 and NSE 100 index. This plan is suitable for the "Low

Risk Low Return" investor with a strategy to invest in blue chip companies, as thesecompanies have steady performance and reduce liquidity risk in the market.

Caterpillar

The Caterpillar portfolio aims to achieve capital appreciation over a long period of time by

investing in a diversified portfolio. This scheme is suitable for investors with a high risk

appetite. The investment strategy would be to invest in scrips which are poised to get a re-

rating either because of change in business, potential fancy for a particular sector in the

coming years/months, business diversification leading to a better operating performance,

stocks in their early stages of an upturn or for those which are in sectors currently ignored by

the market.

Leo

Leo is aimed at retail customers and structured to provide medium to long-term capital

appreciation by investing in stocks across the market capitalization range. This scheme is a

mix of moderate and aggressive investment strategies. Its aim is to have a balanced portfolio

comprising selected investments from both Tortoise and Panther. Exposure to Derivatives is

taken within permissible regulatory limits.

Monarque

Monarque is aimed at the ultra HNI category and structured to provide higher returns by

taking aggressive positions across sectors and market capitalizations. Ideally suitable for

investors with "HIGH RISK HIGH RETURNS" appetite.

Infrastructure

Scheme aims to achieve capital appreciation over a medium term by investing in the

infrastructure theme which will include power, telecom, roads, airports and other

infrastructure related sectors. Investment in these sectors will be minimum 65%, which can

also extend to 100% of the portfolio corpus. Upto 35% of the corpus could be invested in anyother sector. Investment strategy will be to map the activity in the core sectors with a focus

on bottom up strategy. It is suitable for Moderate risk profile aiming for consistent returns

over a longer time frame.

POSITIONProtection of Security Code(s)The Client shall immediately notify the Member in writing, delivered via-e-mail and Registered AD, ifthe Client becomes aware of any loss, theft or unauthorized use of the Client's Security code (s) andaccount number or any failure by the Client to receive the confirmation of an execution including thecontract note for the same; or any receipt by the Client of confirmation of an order and/or executionwhich the Client did not place; or any inaccurate information in the Client's account balances,securities position, or transaction history. In the case where the Client notifies such loss, theft orunauthorized use of the Client's Security code (s) password and account number to the Member, itshall suspend the use of the account of the Client, however the Client shall be responsible and liable

for all transaction that are carried out by using the Client password. When any of the abovecircumstances occur, neither the Member nor any of its officers, directors, employees, agents orsubsidiaries will have any responsibility or liability to the Client or to any other person whose claimmay arise through the Client with respect to any circumstance described above.

Password ProtectionWe give you a unique user name and two passwords for transaction purposes, which authenticatesyour identity from our highly secured database. The system also has a feature, which automaticallyexpires your password in 15 days. This would mean we force you to change your password everyfortnight for ensuring high security for all your transactions. You can also change your password

online at any time. In addition, you can use the Log Off button located throughout the site to securelyexit your account without closing your browser.

Internet Scanners and Intrusion Detection System

The system maintains a database of attack signatures which is continuously updated and againstwhich it will scan all incoming traffic to detect any malicious activity or hacking attempts into the site.In the event of a possible attack, it will terminate that session, log the attack details and also alert theadministrator.

Identity ProtectionPlease do not reply/respond to any communication, including email, SMS or phone call informing youthat your accounts will be closed unless you provide your personal information by responding to suchcommunication or other email address/website/mobile number/phone number, or any communicationrequiring furnishing of any information personal or otherwise, and representing to be from RSL.

Avoid sending or furnishing personal and financial information on email. Also prior to providing anyinformation (financial or personal) on a website, verify the bonafides of the website, its address and ofthe owners/operators of such websites. Make sure that the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) thatappears in the "address" or "location" box on your browser window is the one you wish to access.

SurveillanceReligare has a very scientific risk management system in place. The company has a separatesurveillance and monitoring department, where highly efficient and experienced personnel are

charge of close monitoring of terminal operations throughout the trading hours. Each and everybranch/franchisee is under continuous watch as regards exposures, margins, timely payment of cashand shares, turnover, mark to market profits/losses and so on. In case of orders specifically markedas Intraday, Religare may cut intraday position of client, to ensure that the clients doesnt face anyauction due by buyers freeze, on the event of share price reaching predefined percentage limits.

COSTINGWhat is a depository?

A depository holds securities (like shares, debentures, bonds, Government Securities, units, etc.) of investors inelectronic form. Besides holding securities, a depository also provides services related to transactions in securities.

A depository interfaces with the investors through its agents called Depository Participants (DPs). If an investor wants

to avail the services offered by the depository, the investor has to open an account with a DP.

The benefits of participation in a depository are:

1. Immediate transfer of securities;2. No stamp duty on transfer of securities;3. Elimination of risks associated with physical certificates such as bad

delivery, fake securities, etc.;

4. Reduction in paperwork involved in transfer of securities;

5. Reduction in transaction cost;6. Nomination facility;7. Change in address recorded with DP gets registered electronically with

all companies in which investor holds securities eliminating the need to

correspond with each of them separately;

8. Transmission of securities is done by DP eliminating correspondencewith companies;

9. Convenient method of consolidation of folios/accounts ;10.Holding investments in equity, debt instruments and Government

Securities in a single account;

11.Automatic credit into Demat account, of shares, arising out of

split/consolidation/merger, etc.

NSDL offers following facilities: -

Dematerialization i.e., converting physical certificates to electronic

form;

Rematerialisation i.e., conversion of securities in Demat form into

physical certificates;

Facilitating repurchase / redemption of units of mutual funds;

Electronic settlement of trades in stock exchanges connected to NSDL;

Pledging/hypothecation of dematerialized securities against loan; Electronic credit of securities allotted in public issues, rights issue;

Receipt of non-cash corporate benefits such as bonus, in electronic

form;

Freezing of Demat accounts, so that the debits from the account are not

permitted;

Nomination facility for Demat accounts;

Services related to change of address; Effecting transmission of securities;

Instructions to your DP over Internet through SPEED-e facility;

Account monitoring facility over Internet for clearing members through

SPEED facility;

Other facilities viz. holding debt instruments in the same account,

availing stock lending/borrowing facility, etc.

1. Technical Analysis - A Study On Selected Stocks Executive Summary Prices of

securities in the stock market fluctuate daily on account of continuous buying and

selling. Stock prices move in trends and cycles and are never stable. An investor in

the stock market is interested in buying securities at a low price and selling them at a

high price so as to get a good return on his investment. Technical Analysis is a

method of evaluating securities by analyzing the statistics generated by market

activity, such as fast prices and volume. Technical analysis does not give the intrinsic

value of a security, but instead it includes charts and other tools to identify patterns

that can suggest future activity. The rationale behind the technical analysis is that the

share price behavior repeats itself over time and analysts attempt to derive methods topredict this repetition. A technical analyst looks at the past share price data to see if he

can establish any patterns. He then looks at the current price data to see if any of the

established patterns are applicable and if so, extrapolations can be made to predict the

future price movements. Although past share prices are the major data used by

technical analysts, other statistics such as volume of trading and stock market indices

are also utilized to some extent. Technical analysis studies supply and demand in a

market in an attempt to determine what direction or trend will continue in the future.

substantially greater amount of risk then many investors are normally willing to

when it comes to stock ownership. Technical analysis is the use of numerical seriesgenerated by market activity, such as price and volume, to predict future price trends.

The techniques applied to any market with a comprehensive price history. Primarily,

but not exclusively, technical analysis is conducted by studying charts of past price

movement. Many different methods and tools are used in technical analysis, but they

all rely on the assumption that price patterns and trends exist in markets, and that they

can be identified and exploited. Technical analysis or charting is considered to be as a

supplement to Fundamental Analysis of securities. As an approach to investment

analysis technical analysis is radically different from fundamental analysis. While the

fundamental analysts believe that the market is 90% logical and 10% psychological,

the technical analysis assumes that its 90% psychological and 10% logical. Technical

analysis can be applied to any market with a comprehensive price history. Thepremises of technical analysis were derived from empirical observations of financial

markets over hundreds of years. Perhaps the oldest branch of technical analysis is the

use of candlestick techniques by Japanese traders at least as early as the 18th century,

not concerned with why a price is moving but rather whether it is moving in a

Overview of Technical analysis A method of evaluating securities by analyzing

statistics generated by market activity, such as past prices and volume, Technical

analysts do not attempt to measure a securitys intrinsic value, but instead use chartsto identify patterns that can suggest future activity. Technical analysts believe that the

historical performance of stocks and markets are indications of future performance.

Technical Analysis has become increasingly popular over the past several years, as

more and more people believe that the historical performance of a stock is a strong

indication of future performance. People using fundamental analysis have always

looked at the past performance of companies by comparing fiscal data from previous

quarters and years to determine future growth. The difference lies in the technical

analysts belief that securities move according to very predictable trends and patterns.

These trends continue until something happens to change the trend, and until this

may endure for several weeks. Price fluctuates within a narrow range of about five

percent. Breakouts from a range can occur in either direction. Advances above the

upper limit of the line signal accumulation and higher prices; Declines below the

lower limit indicate distribution and lower prices; Volume is used to confirm price

breakouts. Bull Trends A bull trend is identified by a series of rallies where each rally
