STUDY MODES

On-campusIf you are in Australia on a student visa you must study full time on campus. While in Australia, you are able to undertake some units within your course online provided it is: no more than 25 per cent of your entire course; approved by the University; and not entirely online in a compulsory term.

Online By choosing to study online, you’ll have the flexibility to study a course without needing to visit a campus. If you choose to study online, you may choose part time or full time to study at your own pace. Some courses require you to attend a residential school in Australia for a short period of time.

FULL OR PART TIME STUDY

Full timeFor an undergraduate bachelor degree, a standard full-time load consists of four units per term. You can expect a maximum of 16 hours on campus each week, consisting of 4 hours per unit.

Part time Part-time study is only available to international students who do not live in Australia and are studying online. A part-time study load consists of one or two units per term.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNINGIf you have previously studied at another university or institution within the last ten years, or have professional experience, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning (also known as advanced standing, credit exemption and credit transfer). Recognition of prior learning must be applied for at the time of applying for your course. Your qualifications and professional experience will be assessed on a case by case basis. Confirmation of approved credits will be made when you receive an Offer of Admission.
