Introduction

IntroductionRayQC is a flexible “rule-based” quality control tool, which allows its users to create XML based checklists andexecute them in both manual and automatic modes. The possibility to extend RayQC functionality via plugininterface and adapting it as per the user requirements make RayQC an extensible and versatile QC tool, whichcan be used across an application life cycle.

This release of RayQC 1.5 SP2 has a great deal to do with the feedback from our customers since some of itsnew features and enhancements come as a direct result of that communication. The new features in version 1.5SP2 meet the need of our current customers and the demand of the current market.

New Features in RayQC

New Features in RayQCExporting Reports in PDF File Format

With this release of RayQC 1.5 SP2, the RayQC export functionality has been extended to support PDF fileformat. With this extension,a user will now be able to export a checklist report in .pdf format, along with theexisting supported formats: Microsoft Word (.docs) and HTML (.html).

- Fixed VB script execution for executing a plugin multiple times on using ‘Run All’

- Fixed rare crash on inserting element to checklist

- Fixed rare bug where function names were duplicated (RQC-192)

- Fixed label updates in conditions for multi-options (RQC-196)

- Fixed condition disabling for groups (RQC-195)

- Fixed label update in group conditions (RQC-204)

- Fixed XML special chars parsing (RQC-189)

- Fixed execution of element function hidden by group (RQC-219)

- Fixed rare report generation crash (RQC-173)

- Fixed plug-in processing for hidden groups (RQC-174)

- Added missing scrollbar to editor toolbox when decreasing application windows (RQC-117)

- Set HTML report headline alignment to left (RQC-135)

- Fixed rare crash when using FileFolderCopy plugin (RQC-205)

- Fixed sample plugin VBS file mentions ‘programdata’ in its remarks but uses ‘appdata’ in its code (RQC-202)

- Fixed StaticValue fields are editable in plugin section (RQC-151)

- Fixed item alignment (RQC-166)

- Fixed conditions are not refreshing it selves between other groups after adding another option (RQC-204)
