The service is defined as a restricted service. This particular service has no individual authorised referrers, and it is an initial referral service so there are no authorised services. Instead it is restricted to authorised organisations. In this case all of the practices within the PBC Group are authorised organisations.
Village HealthCentre
What does that mean when Referring?
Referrers will be able to see, and refer directly into, services that they are authorised to do so.
Referrers will be able to see, but not refer directly into, services where they are not authorised to do so.
Where a Referrer is unauthorised, services that are Restricted will be clearly marked in the Service Selection screen as ‘Restricted’.
Clicking onto the ‘Restricted’ hyperlink will give the user access to an alternative pathway to that service.
