• Open the “CS_Lewis_relay” file from the K: drive > Comp Tech > Relays folder
SWITCH!
• Change all text to the Tahoma font
• Change all text to 14 pt
SWITCH!
• Right align the title
• In the 1st paragraph, underline and bold the dates and parentheses
• Center the title
SWITCH!
• Change all text to 12 pt
• Go to the bottom of the document.
• Cut the last paragraph
SWITCH!
• Paste the cut paragraph so it is the 2nd paragraph in the document.
SWITCH!
• Make sure there is only one blank line before and after the paragraph “C. S. Lewis was born…”
• Find the word “Jacksie” in the 2nd paragraph and italicize it.
SWITCH!
• Select the bulleted items and left align them
• Move (drag & drop) the bulleted lines around so they are in chronological order
SWITCH!
• In the second to the last paragraph, select the words “Medieval and Renaissance Literature” and hit the Grow Font button twice.
SWITCH!
• Put a page border on the document. oUse the Shadow setting oSet the line width to 2 ¼ ” oSet the color to
Blue, Accent 1, Lighter 40%
SWITCH!
• Select the bulleted items and apply the Emphasis style.
• Select “April 9, 1973” in the last paragraph and hit the Shrink Font button twice.
SWITCH!
• Open the document “C.S. Lewis_additional” from the K: drive > Comp Tech > Relay folder
• Copy the paragraph.
SWITCH!
• Using Paste Special and the “Keep Text Only” option, place it in front of the paragraph beginning with “Lewis was married late….”
SWITCH!
• Make sure there is only 1 blank line before and after the paragraph beginning “On May 20, 1925…”.• In the 1st paragraph, select the
text “The Chronicles…..The Four Loves.” Apply the Book Title style.
SWITCH!
• Select the bulleted items and put an Outside border around them.
• Select all the text within the border and fill it with Orange, Accent 6, Lighter 80%
SWITCH!
• Go to the bottom of the document
• Click after the last word in the paragraph and press Enter twice
• Enter your team name
• Right align your team name
SWITCH!
• Save the document to your Desktop as “Lewis” as a Rich Text Format file.
• Close Word
SWITCH!
• Open the “Lewis” file from your Desktop
• View the document and make sure it fits all on one page.
• Print and hand to Mrs. Carlson
