SWITCH!

• Select all the text •Change the font to Times New

Roman and 12 pt

SWITCH!

•Go to the top of the document• Select the sentence beginning……..

“On Tuesday”•Delete it

SWITCH!

•Go to the bottom of the document• In the second to the last line select

the word “spring” change the word to “summer”.

SWITCH!

•Go to the top of the document• Type in today’s date spelling out the

month.

SWITCH!

• Select the 2nd sentence---”But she did…”•Delete it

SWITCH!

• Find the two words that have a blue underline.•Right-click each word and take the

suggested change each time.

SWITCH!

• Select the line ….“Earnings stronger than last year”•Underline it•Undo the underline•Apply bold and italics

SWITCH!

•Go to the top of the document• Select the 1st sentence……..

“She was almost too nervous.”•Delete it

SWITCH!

•Make sure you have a blank line between the date and “Press Release”• Select “Press Release”•Apply the Heading 1 style

SWITCH!

•Undo the last action• Select “Press Release”•Apply the Title style

SWITCH!

• Select “Contoso Announces Quarterly Earnings Results”•Apply a Heading 1 style

SWITCH!

•Go to the bottom of the document•Correct the spelling of the word

“signficant” all three times.

SWITCH!

• Select the 3 lines beginning with “significant”•Apply numbering

SWITCH!

• Select the line “Success due to many factors”•Apply a Heading 2 style

SWITCH!

•Change the document margins to Moderate

SWITCH!

• Select the numbered list and change it to a bulleted list using the style bullet.

SWITCH!

• There should be a blank line before the paragraph beginning with “Contoso Pharmaceuticals today”

SWITCH!

•Change the document margins from Moderate to Custom Margins with the left and right being 1.5”

SWITCH!

• Insert a footer with the name of your team.• Save the document to the desktop

and name it Relay 2•Print the document and give to Mrs.
