Located right below the basal membrane of the epidermis, connective tissue stretches right through the dermis as far as the hypodermis with no clear boundaries. It is made up of extra-cellular elastic fibres (collagen) and cellular elements (fibroblasts) that form a vast network inside a viscous substance in which the tissue’s vital exchanges are performed. Mucous, elastic and adipose tissues are an integral part of the connective structure. Blood vessels and nerve fibres also run through the tissue, nourishing and keeping it in touch with the rest of the body. To avoid the tissue becoming slack, oedematous or flaccid it must be constantly and efficiently oxygenated. Radiofrequency involves applying electromagnetic (non-ionizing) waves to the body in order to return physiological pro-cesses that have slowed down to normal. These waves carry heat and energy deep into the skin creating an endothermic effect that has a positive effect on the lymphatic and vascular systems an on the adipose-connective structures.With the Reloaded version the radiofrequency used is modulated and multi-polar. 1) VACUUM MASSAgE hAndpiECE The secret of connective tissue massage lies in the type of handpiece used. A vacuum is created inside specific handpieces which sucks the skin outwards. This traction tends to separate the layers below, stimulating fluids and oxygenated blood. All the connective elements are therefore involved.This handpiece performs three useful functions in beauty care programmes:- CONTINUOUS suction: this handpiece creates a constant vacuum that is ideal for lymph draining treatments.- PULSED suction: this function creates a programmed pulsed vacuum with a realigning action. It is ideal for treating flaccid, slack tissue, double chin symptoms or drooping breasts. - PULSED SYNCHRONIZED suction: this function creates a pulsed vacuum that is synchronised with the customer’s heartbeat. Every heartbeat (systole) flushes a certain amount of oxygenated blood into the arteries. 2) RF + US + phOTOdETOXiFiCATiOn hAndpiECE.This practical, easy-to-use handpiece combines multi-polar radiofrequency and ultrasound with a photodynamic detoxifying action. Ideal for effectively treating areas suffering from flaws such as cellulite build-ups, oedemas and lymph stasis this handpiece guarantees simultaneously a lypolitic and firming effect.
