From the first flip-sided toaster in 1946 through the steady growth of a commercial product range in the 1950s and 60s to its explosion onto the consumer market in the late 70s, dualit has remained true to Max

gort-barten’s original vision. today the company continues to provide professional and aspiring chefs with a broad range of kitchen equipment

dualit’s Quality policy exists to provide employees with a framework that ensures they deliver the promises to customers, whether product or service related. the customers of excel have high

expectations concerning ethical standards and environment. dualit lives up to those expectations by having implemented an ethical sourcing procedure which is based on international standards and have

procedures to prevent pollution, minimise waste, reduce emissions and manage risks and hazards

today dualit produces a range of kitchen and home appliances which remain firmly rooted in the values Max set out for the company in 1945. it is run by Max’s son, leslie and is one of a handful of successful, independently-owned british manufacturers. reliable, well-engineered products remain at the heart of

the company and there is an instantly recognisable - and now nostalgically retro - dualit aesthetic which can be traced back to Max’s first toaster designs in the 1950s. new products are often put to test by the

although sein is danish design and made in denmark, our focus is not limited to denmark, thereforwe have picked an international name for our designbrand. sein is german for “to be”, the

most fundamental part of the language. we are focused on the fundamentals behind good design.to be good design and good quality in every aspect of every product. it’s important to us

that our designs are simple and solid and can stand the test of time - in other words: continue tobe. we strive to incorporate graphical elements in our products, and visually sein works graphically,

simple and clean like our designs.

sein consists of three young designers, all of whom are graduates from design school Kolding indenmark. during their education they were brought together by their common interest in creating

minimalist danish design with international appeal. in 2013 they founded the design companysein in copenhagen. sein’s main ambition is to create high quality interior products - designed

and produced in denmark.

the combination of product design and graphic design was the starting point in the creation ofthe candleholder vinkel. the simple line creating the iconic profile was the focal point of the design

from the very first sketch. the solid expression of the matte black iron forms a contrast withthe thin profile.

although sein is danish design and made in denmark, our focus is not limited to denmark, thereforwe have picked an international name for our designbrand. sein is german for “to be”, the

most fundamental part of the language. we are focused on the fundamentals behind good design.to be good design and good quality in every aspect of every product. it’s important to us

that our designs are simple and solid and can stand the test of time - in other words: continue tobe. we strive to incorporate graphical elements in our products, and visually sein works graphically,

simple and clean like our designs.

sein consists of three young designers, all of whom are graduates from design school Kolding indenmark. during their education they were brought together by their common interest in creating

minimalist danish design with international appeal. in 2013 they founded the design companysein in copenhagen. sein’s main ambition is to create high quality interior products - designed

and produced in denmark.

the combination of product design and graphic design was the starting point in the creation ofthe candleholder vinkel. the simple line creating the iconic profile was the focal point of the design

from the very first sketch. the solid expression of the matte black iron forms a contrast withthe thin profile.
