Career Development
Before I joined the Reims Management School IMBA programme, I was working in one of Big Four accounting firm as an auditor for almost four years in Beijing.
Although my previous company is an international enterprise, the degree of internationalization of the programme still impresses me much. Except for the diversity of international faculty and students, there’s possibility to exchange with other countries. I went to Farleigh Dickinson University - United States - as an exchange student in the second semester, spending three months in New Jersey. The experience was fantastic: market research, simulation, argument in class… It offers me a great chance for experiencing both European and American MBA programme! Living and studying in an international environment enriched my concept of teamwork and make me more flexible. Globalization is an irreversible trend. The ability of working with and managing people from different cultures and backgrounds is a necessary skill for an international professional and manager.
Rongbo Ma - IMBA 05/06
Great opportunity of experiencing international environment
A Graduate from Mumbai University, I worked with US and French MNC as a software engineer. After 4 years in the booming Indian IT industry, time was ripe for me to do an MBA and further my career at a global level. As a part of this process I was hunting for the right B-school which would enhance and add value to my career prospects. RMS with its international outlook and EQUIS accreditation was very much a natural choice. Apart from the pedagogical contents what stands RMS apart is its enormous diversity of students, from Latin America to Far East Asian countries! Ranked amongst the best B-schools in France, RMS can also boast of well acclaimed faculty. In addition to its pedagogical approach, RMS helps its students in their career aspirations by maintaining an active alumni network, sending regular newsletters and latest opportunities on several fronts. Multi-ethnicity and multicultural aspects of RMS are amongst its core strengths. This is a simulation of the actual international working environment a candidate can aspire for post MBA. I pursued my MBA with focus on finance and strategy. Currently I’m based in London and working with a leading investment banking firm. I can very well vouch for the fact that my stint with RMS has enormously helped in my career growth, acting as a catalyst to in realizing my career objectives and aspirations of being a global manager.
Time was ripe for me to do an MBA
