OTHER BUSINESS

Mr. Garrett Guillozet, new Director of the Ross County Health District, effective September 1, 2020, attended the meeting to introducehimself to the Commissioners. Mr. Guillozet reinforced his willingness to work with County officials to provide updated information

regarding the current pandemic and work together to put into place, best practices to keep Ross County residents safe and to slow thespread of the virus.

The Commissioners contacted Melody Young, Executive Director of the Ross County Visitors Bureau to see if she would be willing toadminister a program to help the Hospitality Industry to secure some of the Cares Act Funds to help sustain businesses like Tecumseh,Adena Mansion and Gardens etc. Ms. Young will do some research for a model of what may already be in effect and report back.

SUBJECTS BROUGHT BEFORE THE BOA"

Ms. Jodi Riley, Executive Director, sent in the completed annul CPA audit for the Ross County Committee for Elderly, Inc. This audit

was completed by J. L. Uhrig and Associates, Inc. on August 12, 2020. The audit was presented at their most recent board meeting heldFriday August 28, 2020 for filing and approval.

Jeff Marks, County Prosecutor provided an email update on the Interactive Health bankruptcy. Since there is nothing currently owed,

nor is there any other potential monetary gain from any prior contract with any of the entities named in the bankruptcy, the Commissionersdo not have to, do anything. If there is additional money owed, or potentially owed, then the Proof of Claim will have to be filed on theCommissioner' s behalf.

Kathy Dunn, Ross County Recorder brought a request before the Commissioners to be funded by Cares Act Funding. The request is for

digitization of all of Deed Land Records, on site back scanning, cropping/DE skewing/enhancing, back indexing, auditing and importingof land records. The requested amount to complete the project should not exceed$ 275, 000. 00. The Commissioners will take this under

advisement, but did not approve the request at this time.

Mr. Dan Elliott, Maintenance Supervisor brought a quote before the Commissioners for the purchase of a John Deere Gator with

attachments, to use for snow removal, at a cost of$ 26, 000. 00. No action was taken at this time.

Mr. Cosenza, County Administrator;

Reported, the signage at the Lucy House has been installed, the back deck painted and the weeds in the parking lot have been sprayed.

He also brought to the attention of the Commissioners that the City of Chillicothe is not being billed their percentage for work that is

being done at the Law Enforcement Complex. Mr. Cosenza will speak with the Sheriff and figure out what projects need to be billed

and at what percentages and forward invoices to the City for payment.

Mr. Cosenza spent a day with Mr. Chris Bingey, the Superintendent for Elford, doing a walk- through of the Law Enforcement Complexto review doors, their hardware and food shoot placement, as well as cell size in the infirmary and furniture requirements.

He, Andy Wettersten, IT Coordinator and Joe Corbin a consultant hired by the courts, visited all of the county building that have an ITequipment room that is part of the counties network. Mr. Corbin was impressed and has been given all of the information he needs to

make an informed decision for the courts new network.

There is also a need to provide a storage unit of some type for the PPE that has been acquired by EMA Director Paul Minney. Mr.

Cosenza will make some inquiries to get something in place in a timely fashion.
