BEFORE REGISTRATION: MEMBERSHIP

Am I an active SAE International member? To join or renew your membership, visit http://www.sae.org/membership/stubene.htm. Your membership may not be active for up to 24

hours after you register for the first time.

SAE INTERNATIONAL

Your membership may not be active in the SAE International system for up to a month after you

renew or register with your affiliate organization. We ask that team members (other than the

person registering the team) that wish to participate in the competition updated their

memberships at least one month prior to registration so they can be affiliated to the team.

International students must be a member of one of the following organizations:

o SAE International

o Institute of Mechanical Engineers

o SAE India

o SAE Brasil

Even if you are a member of an affiliate organization, you will need to create a user account for

www.sae.org.

If any card is declined, you will see a Registration Confirmation like the one below. There will be a 48 hour grace period to make

payment before registration is cancelled as long as there is one successful credit card payment.

All of your post-registration tasks that are housed on www.sae.org are completed from the Team Registration Screen. Below are

instructions to find the Team Registration Screen.

1. Navigate to your CDS event and click the Registration tab.

2. Click on the button. Click on your team name.

option to ship their engines to the event organizer.
