Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra is a well known and established name in the field of Technical Education. It is a part of the historic R.B.S College, Agra, run by Balwant Educational Society formed in 1885 and chaired by the District and Sessions Judge, Agra. This comprises of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Faculty of Pharmacy and is involved in imparting education in B.Tech., M.Tech., D.Pharm. and B.Pharm. courses. It is presently affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (College code-004). The college aims to develop high quality personnel with a sound footing on basic engineering principles, technical skills, innovative research capabilities and exemplary professional conduct for the benefit of Industry and society as a whole. The Department of Chemical Engineering was established in 1999, with 4-years B.Tech course and is committed to its growth and excellence. We have dynamic and goal oriented group of highly qualified and experienced faculty, well supported by experienced technical staff and a modern research and development infrastructure. The Department is committed to achieve excellence in its field using the highest standards of quality and providing a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Agra is a historic city situated on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is 200 kilometers south of the national capital New Delhi. It achieved much fame as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1556 to 1658. It is a major tourist destination because of its numerous splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is about 55 km away from the Holy city of Mathura-the land of temples & the Birthplace of Lord Krishna.
The weather during the month of February is moderately cold with night temperatures dropping to low levels. Days are bright and cool. February is one of the best times of the year for sightseeing & outdoor activities. Woolen apparels are advisable.
Excursion will be arranged depending upon the response to Taj Mahal & Agra Fort / Fatehpur Sikri. No additional payment is required for the same.
