Summer School: Recommendations made by teachers. Only offered for certain courses for credit recovery. A letter will be sent home from the main office if you have been recommended. Talk with your first semester teacher if you have questions.
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Academically challenging courses taken during high school which are designed to be equivalent to college courses.
Earn high school credit like all other courses. OPTIONAL AP Exam in May
– Must sign up for and pay to take exam– Only way to also earn college credit through AP Classes– Not guaranteed college credit ~ dependent on score
earned, college attending and academic major.
