Challenge When Regions merged with another banking company,
there were many spaces that needed to conform to the
corporate aesthetic standard. Regions is adamant that their
banks project a consistent image and message utilizing
these standards throughout the space at each location.
The bank runs a very efficient construction program and all
vendors must perform to their highest level at all times. In
the process of a corporation-wide assessment, relocation,
and re-design, Regions had specific furniture requirements.
Challenge
Challenge
Project a stable imageRegions needed their environment to evoke a sense of trust and stability
in their clients and visitors. A strong, professional aesthetic was a must.
Bring consistency to all branchesBecause of the merger, Regions needed to be sure that all branches
possessed the same corporate aesthetic and characteristics.
Maximize workspace and support technologyEven with a more traditional aesthetic, the functionality of the space
needed to be current. Products needed to be capable of maintaining and
supporting technology use.
Create a welcoming EnvironmentNot only did the space need to evoke stability, but also comfort. Regions
wanted to gain and keep the trust of their current clients as well as
potential new clients.
Solution
Solution Kimball Office and Regions Financial Corporation were
strategic partners in Regions’ goal to project a consistent
image in every branch. To convey the Regions’ brand
identity in every space, strict furniture standards and
construction programs were put in place. The Cetra
sectional system with Footprint wood components was
used for the solidity of its steel frames, dressed with
sophisticated metal, glass and wood finishes. This
conveys the feeling of permanence and stability that
comes from wood.
In back office areas, Cetra tackable acoustic panels
give seated privacy while aiding acoustics. Paired with
white laminate worksurfaces and durable metal storage
components, these solid stations are built to last. In
executive areas, the distinctive detailing of President
sets an elegant tone. The traditional appearance of
administrative stations conceals a thoroughly modern
characteristic—U-shaped arrangements inside with
plenty of storage, worksurface space, and cable
management to support paper and task intensive work.
Combinations of Stature desk chairs with Adagiato,
Arpeggio, Collage, and lounge seating are used
throughout the Regions organization for their
comfortable, ergonomic support and sturdy construction.
These chairs maintain their tailored good-looks in high
traffic areas, where people are in and out, all day long.
ResultIn the space of 90 days, Kimball Office supplied wood
furniture for 300 bank branches. “It’s my job to make
sure we deliver projects on time, on schedule, without
any surprises or cost overruns,” said Paul Newman,
Vice President of Real Estate and Properties, Regions
Financial Corporation. “Kimball Office and Regions
have built a good team because what they tell me, they
commit to, and then they execute.”
