Summit followed by the 6th Regional Cyber Drill from 21-25 October 2018.

summit oveRviewCITRA Kuwait is hosting “The 7th Annual Regional Cybersecurity Summit” on 21 - 22 October 2018. The Summit is organized by ITU ARCC, endorsed by ITU, researched and managed by White Paper Summits (WPS).

The 7th edition will encompass a vast range of key topics, highlight current trends and future security issues that affect the virtual security of organizations and restrict business efficiency.

The Summit will host 250+ key attendees from across the Middle East and globally to discuss, partner with, form new ideas and policies and present the latest technological advancements that can help in battling cyber coercions. The Summit will embrace keynote presentations, case studies, panel discussions, topic focused sessions and technology demos that will enhance the knowledge and understanding of the attendees to deal with various aspects of Cyber threats and digital security issues.

Regional CybeR DRillThe ITU Arab Regional Cybersecurity Centre (ARCC) is organizing the 6th Arab Regional Cyber Drill-Applied Learning for Emergency Response Teams (ALERT) for the Arab Region. The Cyber Drill is dedicated for National Arab CERT’s, private CERT’s and critical sectors security operation centers. This year the drill is hosted by the Communication and Information Technology Regulation Authority, Kuwait (CITRA) from 23-25 October 2018.

The main objective of the Cyber Drill is to enhance the communication and incident response capabilities of the participating teams as well as to ensure a continued collective effort in mitigating cyber threats among the region’s national Computer Incident Response Teams (CIRTs).
