And, whereas the Government is of the opinion that revision of the certain provisions of the said Regional Plan is necessary. And, whereas under Section 17 of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act, 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Government had directed the Chief Town Planner to undertake revision of the said Regional Plan. Cases at serial Nos. 19 to 22 in the given below list were approved in the earlier meetings. However certain typographical errors occurred in the minutes. Board has rectified the errors in its 99th and 100th meetings. As the Board considered . the above cases for the revision and the changes needed to be made in the said Regional Plan in terms of Section 12. Whereas the Regional Plan for Goa has been published in the Official Gazette, Series III, No. 37, dated 11-12-1986 (hereinafter referred to as "Regional Plan").

And, whereas the Government is of the opinion that revision of the certain provisions of the said Regional Plan is necessary.

And, whereas under Section 17 of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act, 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Government had directed the Chief Town Planner to undertake revision of the said Regional Plan.

And, whereas the Chief Town Planner has carried out necessary surveys/studies of the concerned areas

And, whereas the Board in its 100th meeting considered the cases of serial Nos. 1 to 10 of item No. 10, in its 100th adjourned meeting serial Nos. 1 and 2 of item No. 10, and in its 101st meeting serial Nos. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 14 of item No. 9 for the revision and the changes needed to be made in the said Regional Plan in terms of Section 12 of the said Act and approved the same.

The case at serial No. 18 in the given below list was approved by the Chairman, Town and Country Planning Board. Whereas the Vasco Outline Development Plan has

been published in the Official Gazette, Series III, No. 12,

dated 26-6-2000 under Section 36 (hereinafter referred

to as "Development Plan").

And, whereas the Government is of the opinion that

some alterations and changes in the said Development

Plan are necessary.

And, whereas under Section 39 (1) of the Goa

'lbwn and Country Planning Act, 1974 (hereinafter

referred to as the said Act), the Board and the

Government have considered it necessary to carry

out the said alterations and changes in the said

Development Plan.

And, whereas the Chief Town Planner has

carried out necessary surveys/studies of the

concerned areas and referred the proposals to the

Town and Country Planning Board.

And, whereas the Board in its 99th meeting held

on 6-6-2001 considered the alterations and

changes made in the said Development Plan

and Government gave consent in terms of Section

34(2) of the said Act to the publication of notice in

this behalf.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers

conferred under Section 35 (1) of the said Act, the

Chief Town Planner hereby notifies the below

mentioned proposed alterations and changes in the

said Development Plan for information of the

persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is

hereby given that the copies of the maps and notes

containing the proposed alterations and changes

are kept for the purpose of inspection in the

Office of the Chief Town Planner, Town and Country

Planning Department, Old Goa Medical College
