Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP)• Heated area is 4,397.72 m2, 190 elderly people and 59

employees• Investments based on EA recommendations in new doors

and windows with LOW-E glass in 2009, lighting system in2009, radiator thermostats and automatic balancing valvesin 2012 and new building envelope in 2013

• Financing from county’s budget and grant fromEnvironmental protection and energy efficiency fund

• Monitoring and verification of savings done by EIHP• Next step - towards nearly zero energy status
