Refs. Thick-Film Boron Doped Diamond Electrodes Miniaturised thick-film Boron Doped Diamond Electrodes over ceramic substrates with screen-printed auxiliary and reference electrodes. Suitable for working with microvolumes using a drop of solution (ref. BDD10) or by dipping them in solution (ref. CBDD110). This innovative electrode material has an enhanced electrochemical window and good chemical compatibility. Ideal for decentralized assays, to develop specific (bio)sensors and to oxidise organic molecules. Useful for undergraduate lab to avoid tedious polishing of solid electrodes. Ceramic substrate: L33 x W10 x H0.5 mm Electric contacts: Silver The electrochemical cell consists on: Working electrode: BDD (3.6 mm diameter) Counter electrode: Carbon Reference electrode: Silver Boron Doped Diamond Electrodes are commercialised in 20 unit package. They should be stored at room temperature, protected from light in a dry place. Due to the manufacturing process the visual aspect of the ceramic is grey, this does not affect to the electrochemical performance of the electrodes. Also, specific connectors that act as an interface between the screen-printed electrode and any potentiostat (refs. DSC, CAC) and other accessories are available at DropSens.
