As the temperature of air reduces, its water vapour holding capacity comes down drastically. This principle is

employed in Refrigerated type dryers. Compressed air is cooled by refrigeration system thereby reducing its

watervapour holding capacity. Water vapours above the holding capacity at reduced temperature condense into

water droplets and are removed in water separator. The resultant compressed air becomes dry to pressure dew point

equal to its reduced temperature (generally around+2C to +8C). As long as the temperature of compressed air, as it

travels through the system does not fall below the dew point temperature produced in the dryer, no more water

vapours will condense into troublesome liquid in downstream air lines.

    eatures:

Lower energy consumption compared to other type to dryers for equivalent degree of dryness.

Heat exchangers maintain high degree of heat exchange efficiency and lower pressure drop through out life

    of dryer.

Consistent degree of dryness over a wide range of flows and operating conditions.

Units supplied in rugged Industrial cabinet prewired and piped for easy installation.

Safety interlocks for compressor, fans etc.

    Easy access to all parts.

Unit built under strict quality control procedures to maintain consistently high product quality. Requires low

    maintenance during its life.

    1. Rated flow capacity is based on compressed Air pressure of 7kg/cm2g, Inlet temp of 40C and outlet

pressure dew point of 2C. For any change in pressure and dew point, ask for our sizing chart or consult our

    application Engineers.

    2. Dryers with higher maximum working pressure are available on request.

    3. Inlet/Outlet connections indicated are standard. For any different connections, please specify.

    4. Flanged connections shall be as per ANSI 150#RF.
