    The students will watch a BrainPop Jr. video on subject and verbagreement. The teacher will read sentences and ask the students toplace the correct verb to fill in the sentence. The spelling words will beintroduced to the students. The spelling words are compound words.Students will be reminded of what compound words are.     How will I vary these objectives for students who are presently learning English?

    For students who do not understand the material, the teacher willwork with those students individually.

    For students who have already mastered the concept, the teacherwill allow them to help other students.

    There are not any students in the class who are presentlylearning English.

    Why is it important for the students to learn this content?

    The purpose is for students to be able to know how to speak correctly.Also for students to be able to write opinion writing.

    The teacher will use Editors Checklist, graphic organizers, Lumens light,and the promethean board. The students will need pencils, paper, andjournals.
