BLOGGING HOW WELL DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE PROGRESSING WITH

YOUR BLOGGING COMPARED TO LAST YEAR?

Compared to last year I think blogging has been more intense and needed to be increasingly detailed. This year we were introduced to new things which we have to portray in our blog.

Every step we take with filming our music video needs to be seen on our blog. For instance the blog has to represent our journey of filming our music video. Whereas last year I don’t recall recording down everything I had done on the blog.

This year we also encouraged to use technical terms and theories, and include it in our blogs more often. However we was also told to this last year as well but I failed to include it in my blog as frequently as possible.

We were given vast opportunities to blog about diverse and unique things such as blogging about where we got inspiration from or the use of props. This allowed us to be inventive and creative with the blog but unfortunately I believed last year I was not as creative and inventive as I would like to be, however I am going to be blogging about things that are relevant but also interesting.

I feel as if I am doing better this year because I have aims therefore I have a clear direction in which way I want to blog.

MARKS WHAT MARK OUT OF 20 WOULD YOU GIVE YOURSELF AT THIS POINT FOR USE OF DIFFERENT ICT AND LEVEL OF

DETAIL IN YOUR BLOGGING.

I think 12/20 would have been appropriate for the amount of diverse ICT and level of detail in my blog.

I think that last year I was not as confident in using different ICT therefore throughout my blog it remained simple and plain. Now I am exposed to the variety of different ICT – Powerpoint, Camtasi, SlideShare, Wordle and Prezi.

The level of detail in my work last year was minimum as I constantly blogged briefly and vaguely.

IMPROVEMENT WHAT THREE THINGS DO YOU NEED TO DO TO IMPROVE?

Three things I would like to improve on is –

1. The level of creativity and detail in my blogs

2. Use different ICT constantly throughout my blog

3. Blog my journey of the making of our music video, allowing us to be different – e.g -vlogs
