REFLECTION No. 3

TECHNOLOGY BASED MATERIALS

I think that a leader for innovation in education should be honest, analytic, facilitator, organize, impartial, good listener, creative, investigative, motivate their students to do the best, between the use of amazing materials, in order to improve the education. First, it needs to know with honesty is: What is most important for students? What do they need to learn according with their context? Second, what materials must we use? As Tomlinson (2003), have written, “The development of materials allows teachers to focus not only on the students´ language needs, but also on their emotional needs too”(P. 91). Furthermore teacher have to look for some benefits of developing materials as education to be relevant, there are many innovation ideas, it does not matter to use traditional resources or new technology the important is that teachers use this materials in a real context and with authentic needs. As a result, students use skills, such as, critical thinking. And tutors teach in a significant way.
