Plant Materials:
Canadian Hemlock: installed at five to six feet tall, and are spaced fifteen feet on center.
Diane witchhazel: deciduous, (loose their leaves in the winter),grows from 12 to 14 feet tall, spaced eight feet on center. Flowers are red/orange in spring.
Coralberry: grows up to 3 feet high with coral pink flowers. Spaced four feet on center.
All Gold Japanese forest grass: grows from one to one and a half feet tall. Spaced eighteen inches on center.
Ajuga; Catlins Giant: grows three to four inches high, with bronze leaves and a purple/blue flower in the spring. Spaced eight inches on center.
Stoneware:
Huron Highlands: a limestone rock with a reddish brown hue. Will be used for the benches and accent boulders. This color was selected to match the headstones.
Bluestone stepping stones: also selected to match the headstones. The plant Brass buttons go between the pavers to tie them together.
This is what we want the final bench and pavers to resemble.
