Shafqat was tasked with steering an embedded GSM modem through ATcommands, refining a Python program on the Google Application Engine cloud platform, and installing an open source Java / Tomcat web application on Red Hat’s Openshift cloud platform. These tasks were crucial in building QraQon’s Winnetou, a solarpowered tracker for freight wagons. Throughout his internship, Shafqat has proven to be a punctual, reliable team player. Even though his studies had not introduced him to the topics mentioned above, he was eager to learn, and steadfastly familiarized himself with these intricate and diverse technologies. He regularly provided feedback, didn’t hesitate to ask for help when deemed appropriate, and kept his morale, even when things did not turn out as expected, which is the case more often than not in Information Technology. In short, Shafqat’s internship at QraQon was a pleasant and rewarding experience. I have no doubt it has been the prelude to a successful career. You may contact me about this reference.
