The book in which Daphne du Maurier mentions The Nook is ‘Myself when Young’ which was based on diaries she kept between 1920 and 1932. LOCATION Fowey is an extremely sought after town and one of the jewels in Cornwall’s crown, comprising predominately older properties arranged in picturesque streets along the riverbank now hosting an excellent variety of local trading shops, restaurants, cafés, inns and local business.
