    the second of five children of.Jarnes H. and Charlotte Leather-man. He passed away Nov. 9,1959 at the Good SamaritanHome in Dodge City at the ageof 77 years, two months and 13days.He was married to BeatriceMay Reeves on Dec. 27, 1906.To this union were born sevenchildren, four boys and threegirls. Preceding him in deathwere one daughter, two sistersand his wife, who passed awayonly four days before him.He is survived by four sons,

    Bill and Wilbur of the home,Jimmie of Dodge City and Earlof Fort Eustis, Va.; two daugh-ters, Alta Dalton of Fowler andDorothy Moon of Minneola; onesister, Mrs. Susie Farley ofGuthrie, Okla., and one brother,William Leatherman of Wichita.He, with his family, moved toFowler in 1922 from Crescent,Okla., and resided here until hisdeath.

He was takento the Meade. hospital that morn-ing and he died in the Meade hos-pital from injuries following thoaccident. His neck was severedthe fatal accident three miles northeast of Meade.He gradually' became worse untildeath occuredMonday about noonMr. Reeves had many friends inthis community.
