    simultaneouslyinonereactororintwoindependentinterconnectedreactors.

    Typicallylead,zincandhotmetalareproducedinasinglereactorcalledblastfurnace.InKorexprocess

    twoindependentinterconnectedreactorsareusedtoproducehotmetal. Shaftfurnaceisconnected

    withasmeltergasifiesunit.
