MARK REDISKEDESIRE

For this show I am taking my inspiration from a sense of place, both past and present. A longing for times lost and obscured by time and a desire to appreciate the profound wonder of the natural world around me. My formative years in Minnesota were spent around water and an infinitely dramatic sky, transformed by the sensational weather. My present is nurtured by the lush and bountiful beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I am awed by nature’s eternal capacity for renewal and regeneration in a world of constant change and flux. It is my aspiration to capture some element of this mystic atmosphere of splendor.
