Alternative Methods for Placing Students/Concurrent Dev Ed Enrollment•Establish policy to allow use of high school transcript GPA for placement instead of relying on a single assessment.

•Establish policy to allow concurrent enrollment or supplemental instruction for students who place near college-ready in developmental reading, English, and math courses.

Highly-Structured Programs• Restructure curriculum standards to enable colleges to clearly

map out program requirements and course sequencing.• Provide opportunities for ‘stackable’ credentials with multiple

entry and exit points.

Update the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement•Ensure that all CAA general education core courses transfer for course credit.

•Ensure that students who complete the AA/AS enter the university with junior standing.

•Develop policies and procedures to support reverse transfer of credit.
